Another great day on the mountains today with the second day of racing. Today was all about the slalom and after yesterdays successful start there was a real buzz amongst  all the competitors as we headed up to the glacier.

The weather was on our side again with clear blue skies but with the temperature dropping and the wind increasing the competitors had to deal with the alpine conditions and make sure it wouldn’t effect there overall performance. There was some very strong race times from both the junior and senior competitors and the full list of results for all students can be seen by clicking the links below.

Tomorrow the competitors will take to the slopes for the final day of racing in the parallel slalom. They will have to deal with a change in the weather as a colder, cloudy day is predicted with stronger winds. Hopefully they can rise to the challenge and take the changeable conditions in their stride. Whatever the weather, it is sure to be an exciting day as the parallel slalom is seen as the most favoured event amongst the competitors, teachers and staff and a great atmosphere is always created at the finish line!
