Once again this morning the entire crew warily made our way up the mountain on first lifts. With another heavy dump of snow overnight, the outlook wasn’t positive.
Again we arrived in unison, but this time to a pristine corduroy piste, rapidly clearing conditions, and a lot of excited competitors. So it began- races from 10am until 4pm. Triumphs, victory and defeat. The ups and downs of competitive racing were fresh in the air on day one of competition, niggles and faults being ironed out. Tomorrow’s forecast brings bluebird conditions for the final day of the ISSSC 2018 competition. Thanks again to Crew, Teachers and Pupils for unending good spirits.
