After liaising with the Lift Pass Office in Les Deux Alpes all morning, we’re so disappointed to announce that, due to very strong winds, it’s not safe for the lifts to open today.

We’re really gutted that our skiers won’t get out onto the mountain today to start their race training with Impulse Racing and ESF. However, we’ve left plenty of flexibility within the itinerary. The good news is, if the weather plays ball tomorrow, we’ll be able to rejig the schedule to ensure our racers don’t miss out on anything.

Of course, skiing is a weather dependent sport and our skiers’ safety is our main priority but we’ll also ensure they have an amazing time! We’ve arranged some alternative entertainment for today to keep everyone in high spirits. This afternoon, our skiers are looking forward to a talk from snowboarding royalty, Jamie Barrow, who holds the Guinness World Record for reaching the fastest speed on a snowboard! Later on, ESF will also be showing a film to inspire our aspiring snowsports athletes.

We’ll regularly monitor conditions and will, of course, keep you updated! Please keep your fingers (and toes) tightly crossed for us!
