Day 2 did not disappoint with Les Deux Alps delivering clear blue skies and uncrowded crisp powder slopes which made it the perfect situation to get some intense race training in for all the competitors.

All the schools were based on the glacier today with a slalom course set up similarly to what they will be competing on from tomorrow. Speaking to the Impulse instructors they are extremely excited about the high level of the competitors this year and are expecting some fast times tomorrow and some nail biting races throughout the rest of the week.

Tomorrow will be the first day of competition with the Giant Slalom kicking of the event. There is a definite buzz amongst the staff and schools as the ones who have been to this event before know how great the race days are! The weather is looking clear tomorrow as well which is great and with the temperature staying low the snow should be in great condition throughout the day.

You can keep up to date with all the action live via our Twitter feed from 10:30am which can be found on the website or our Twitter account. The results will then be put up tomorrow evening on our Day 3 blog.
